PROPERTY INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE

It is vitally important that your property in the Algarve is inspected and aired regularly!!

Many Algarve properties are left empty during the winter months, leaving them vulnerable to burglaries and deterioration. Relatively small issues, such as leaks, can quickly become big problems if left unchecked. Dampness and humidity are also a major problem in the Algarve and can cause serious damage to walls, ceilings and soft furnishings.

As part of our property management service, Asset Property Management and Rentals, will visit your property in the Algarve, at least once every 10 days to check on the security and maintenance and to air all rooms. We’ll also carry out an additional inspection before and after your guests and in times of extreme weather such as storms or very heavy rain,

Particular attention is given to any possible water damage or leakage, humidity levels, the condition of the paintwork and interior furnishings, vermin detection.

We will also inspect your doors, windows and shutters for any attempted break-ins.

We will contact you immediately regarding any damage, concerns or recommendations. We have a full time maintenance man on our staff who will carry out repairs quickly and without fuss (this is particularly important when you have guests staying in the property). We can also provide you with quotes for more major work such as installing kitchens, pools, Sky TV or repainting your property.
